Who am I - well stick around and you will find out all about me I'm sure of that but here is a quick snap shot, I am 39 year old, single mother of 2 beautiful girls, I work full-time and have made fitness a huge part of my life the last year. I have always been involved with fitness and working out just that I would go in stages or phases then stop. Now at 39, I have decided to step it up to the next level.....that means I hired trainers and have decided to really give this a shot.
I have an entire program that was built to suit me, diet, fitness, supplements. I also decided no drinking during this first 12 weeks to really jump start this. This will be the first time I am following a diet or meal plan - its really not a diet more just a daily plan of what foods to eat - clean eating- as some would call it. I have spent the last year averaging 6 days a week at the gym and to be honest my endurance is great and I can run 11k but I am not happy with my results and really know I could have that amazing fitness model body if I put my mind to it.
Some people have asked me "WHY" , why are u doing this and why do u want this and why aren't u happy with the way u are now...........hold on everyone did I say I wasn't happy? Does it matter that I have a goal and want to accomplish it......I want to be in the best shape if my life by the time I'm 40. It seems like a great goal to me. I want to be healthy, I want to be active, I want to show my girls that health and fitness and great nutrition is important in life. I want to eventually find the most amazing man to share it all with. I want to inspire people and share with the world my journey and hopefully help motivate others to do the same.
So it all starts April 1st, 2013 and actually it has already started because I have been prepping for weeks, getting everything in order to accomplish this. I am going to try and blog and share how its going, the real stuff, the stuff u never hear like " this sucks" lol or " I'm sore everywhere" haha - I'm sure I can be a great whiner when I need to and hopefully I find motivation from this and others. I am sure that this blog won't only be about fitness but life in general and the ups and downs and all the loops and bends that come with it.
